Review in “Global Music Magazine”

If Malva and Priks had a plan to play Estonian folk music in unplugged-rock version, then their debut album „Mässiv“ is a 100% success. The fusion of folk melodies and new material results in a bold mixture. With a little help from electronics, accordion and Estonian bagpipe acquire a very diverse sound. The sound of accordion is in some cases downright lavish – therefore the name „Mässiv“ suits the album very well.
